Hardscape Construction/Masonry Foreman

Performance Standard

This key staff member must be efficient, organized, courteous, and reliable. The Hardscape/Masonry Foreman is responsible for completing jobs efficiently, managing the job site, ensuring crew members are working safely, ensuring that customers are satisfied, and promoting the company image.

Job Duties

Completes jobs efficiently by managing the crew and job site, tracking labor hours and material, reviewing daily goals with the crew each morning, checking trucks and equipment daily for any possible issues, following systems already put into place, being efficient in the yard each morning and afternoon, and loading at night in preparation for the following day. Manages job site by keeping job site organized and clean making sure all necessary machines are on site, reporting payroll hours to office, entering all necessary notes into provided software programs, and reporting change orders. Ensures everyone on the crew is working safely. Performs other duties as required.

Job responsibilities

  • Installing backyard retreats (ie. patios, outdoor kitchens, natural stone walls)
  • Understanding drainage and water management
  • Running a crew of 2-3 crew members efficiently
  • Interacting with customers in a professional manner
  • Able to pass drug screening
  • Valid drivers license required (CDL a plus)
  • Hoisting license a plus
  • Able to Install from start to finish:
    • Segmented concrete retaining walls
    • Natural stone walls
    • Patios (pavers/natural stone)
