Role Description

We are seeking an experienced sales oriented individual to work with our Commercial Business Development team – to support company growth by creating new relationships with key contacts in the commercial real estate industry, nurturing leads, increasing commercial sales, estimating jobs profitably, handing off work from production, and assuring customer satisfaction. We are looking for an eager self-starter to work directly with our existing commercial business development lead and company leadership, to be a champion of our intrinsic values and become a valued, long-term member of our team.

The main responsibilities of this position will be to find, acquire, qualify and track sales leads, to work directly with customers to create a vision for their property maintenance plan and snow removal contracts, to create estimates and present proposals, to close sales, and to ensure a proper hand off to the production team.

This position is full-time, in person, and 40 hours a week.

Role Responsibilities

  • Supports business strategy and marketing to make Landscape America a magnet for new commercial customers
  • Prepares annuals sales goals and sets success measures along the way
  • Sets goals for daily, weekly, and monthly touch points for commercial prospects
  • Converts commercial prospects to new contracts
  • Tracks all touch points and sales metrics in CRM (Aspire)
  • Attends networking events and is involved with BOMA and other associations
  • Attends and provides updates during weekly Sales meetings
  • Attends weekly company meeting
  • Estimates landscape maintenance and snow projects
  • Prepares presentations
  • Builds job packets to hand off to production after sale
  • Conducts proper handoff with Accounts Manager after sales
  • Checks in with clients after 30 and 90 days
  • Generates new sales ideas and new funnels for attracting leads
  • Qualifies leads and customers to fit our company
